Eduardo set down the carcass near the entrance of the cave both him and Mark were in and looked out into the now stormy fields. It didn't seem like it was going to stop raining anytime soon. The dark green monster huffed and rolled his eyes but then froze when he heard light panting beneath his paws. He looked down seeing a tiny light blue cub looking out into the fields as well as it was snuggled between his massive claws.

"What the-?... Hey back off twerp!" Eduardo growled backing up from the cub as it jumped and turned around, facing him. The little creature's fur stood up as he growled viciously. "I-I.. I'm sorry!" it squeaked out "I d-didn't mean to do that... I-It was raining..and I saw y-you two run inside here so I-I..uhm..ehmm... followed you..." the cub explained while stuttering. 

"Huh???... Don't ya have parents or somethin' why'd you follow us..???" the dark green monster tilted his head looking down at the cub.

"Mn...N..No...I-I...don't.." it answered weakly. The little cub then looked up when Mark walked up to it. "So you're lost?..." Mark asked. He just received a nod from it. Eduardo grunted looking to Mark.

"Mark...Don't you even think about bringing that back to the den! We barely find any food for ourselves! All we need is a wimpy cub to feed as well." he growled out. The purple monster rolled his eyes at him and huffed

"Eduardo. Listen. It's JUST a cub. What bad could it do. It's not like a cub eats all that much anyways! You remember me when I was one. I ate almost as much as a tiny bird." Matt tried to console him. The dark green monster grunted

"What if its parents come to look for em' then what??" then the little cub called out. "M-My parents..they uhm... they haven't looked for me in months now...." it frowned lowering it's ears. "......So ... you.. ARE lost...?" Eduardo tilted his head. "Sounds like abandoned to me.." Mark added.

"I just...woke up one day...and.. both of them were gone.. I was all alone in my nest...I looked for them but...never found them.." it started to whimper. Mark's ears lowered as he brought the little cub close. "There,there... Calm down.." he petted it lightly. The purple monster then looked up to Eduardo "We should keep him..." he said with a light smile. "W-What?! But we can't-!" Eduardo stuttered a bit shocked.

"Come on. Look at em. Abandoned, with no-one to care for it. We have to.." he explained. The dark green creature grumbled for a bit but then sighed and looked up at him. "Fine...let's uhh... keep the cub or...whatever.." he huffed. The little creature then looked up from Mark's paws and wagged its tail "R-Really! You'll...take me in???" it aske

"Yep. You'll be in our pack from now on." Mark smiled. "That reminds me... We haven't introduced ourselves. I'm Mark. And this here is
Eduardo. And.. you are?" he raised a brow looking down at it.

"I'm Jon!" he wagged his tail like a little pup. The purple monster chuckled and looked out "Hey. The rain stopped!" all three of them soon enough walked out the cave they were in. Eduardo was carrying the carcass yet again. And Mark was now carrying Jon on his back. "So where do you guys live??" Jon asked. 

"We live close by the fields. We're just a few acres away from this place." Mark explained. "It's a really cozy place. You'll like it." Jon wagged his tail happily "Awesome! Heheheheh!" he giggled in joy.

Soon enough all three of them walked off heading home with their now new friend.
